12kV recloser replacement and SCADA installations

PROJECT DESCRIPTION & CLIENT CHALLENGES:

Our team modernized various substations in Missouri by replacing outdated reclosers with state-of-the-art Viper reclosers and installing new RTU/SCADA systems in locations with limited or no SCADA capabilities. We also carried out a range of physical and electrical upgrades. We carried out these upgrades in the cities of Kingdom City, Hallsville, Valles Mines, and Mexico.

These stations had not been updated in decades and required comprehensive upgrades to meet modern standards. For example, our team replaced outdated reclosers with advanced Vipers and installed new RTU/SCADA systems in locations with limited or no SCADA capabilities. We also carried out a range of physical and P&C upgrades, including redrawing rasters.

RESULTS

Despite the challenges, the project was completed successfully, bringing the substations up to the latest standards and ensuring their reliability and efficiency for the future. The upgraded stations are now equipped with cutting-edge technology and can provide safe and reliable energy to the communities they serve.
