Of all engineers in the US, just 14 percent are female. Additionally, only 28.3 percent account for Asian, Hispanic or Latino, Black or African American, American Indian, and Alaska Native. There is simply a deficiency of minorities and women in science, technology, engineering, and math.

LUZCO Founder and CEO Lusnail Haberberger understood and recognized these daunting tribulations firsthand as a minority female engineer. That is why she decided to create her own boutique engineering firm. Lus wanted to cultivate an environment for herself and others that encourages a work-life balance, supports unique and individual goals, and emboldens underrepresented minorities to enter the STEM field. LUZCO’s enthusiastic support of work VISA assistance; pregnancy, infant, and childcare; and unique life demands has attracted a diverse applicant pool to new positions.
